The story began in Châteaubourg almost 10 years ago. A team of experienced and committed dressmakers set out to found Maïlou Tradition, a workshop specializing in the manufacture of stuffed animals made entirely by hand. One thing led to another, Maïlou Tradition is making its mark and succeeding in establishing its reputation between its 100% Breizh stuffed toys as well as its special orders from luxury players who promote excellence and French style. Declared a Living Heritage Company in 2015, Maïlou Tradition recalls that the manufacture of the legendary French plush is a craft whose know-how is still alive. In 2019, Doudou et Compagnie, the leader in cuddly toys and stuffed animals in France, launched the challenge of reindustrializing traditional stuffed animals in France. A meeting between enthusiasts will transform Maïlou Tradition into a subsidiary integrated into the specialist group in order to launch this large-scale project!
