Mindful day in the city of Adelaide, to learn the hands-on art of Kintsugi, its history and phillosophy and Chado, Japanese tea ceremony.
Kintsugi is a century-old Japanese craft where broken ceramic objects are pieced back together using Urushi lacquer and gold dust, an art of mending based on the philosophy of Wabi Sabi, finding beauty in imperfection, derived from Chado, Japanese Tea Ceremony.

This is an unique collaboration workshop, Art Kintsugi Sydney with Eriko Takefuji, Adelaide based Chado instructor, to bring together the two essential tradinal Japanese art and craft based on Wabisabi Zen philosophy.
The workshop is a full day You will be introduced to the history of Kintsugi and Chado, 4 hours of hands-on Art Kintsgui workshop using modern accessible materials, followed by Chado demonstration and Matcha tea tasting with Japaneses sweets. 6.5 hours of mindful experience.
